At She’s Going Places, we believe every woman and girl no matter where she starts deserves the opportunity to go far. We are a women-led nonprofit based in Compton, California, with a mission to equip girls and women from underserved communities with the tools, confidence, and support they need to thrive.

We are more than an organization. We are a movement. A sisterhood. A global network of change-makers, mentors, and bold dreamers committed to creating equity, dignity, and opportunity for all.

💡 What We Do

Through our four core programs, we prepare girls and women to

dream bigger, lead stronger, and show up fully wherever life takes them.

Financial Literacy: Workshops and coaching that teach women how to build wealth, manage money, and break generational cycles of poverty.

Personal Development: Life skills, mentorship, and confidence-building experiences to support emotional and professional growth.

Global Ambassador Program: Travel, cultural immersion, and leadership training for young women to expand their worldview and represent their communities abroad. Hygiene & Wellness: Distribution of hygiene kits and reproductive health education to underserved women and girls locally and globally.

has access to basic needs and receives the mentorship and support to lead boldly—regardless of her zip code, ethnicity, or income level.

We’re building bridges from Compton to Colombia, from California to Cape Town—because when she goes places we all rise!
